Human Connection and
Introspection

The drawings in this collection explore themes of human connection, vulnerability, and introspection. Through the depiction of hands holding a glove, a person lying on a couch, and a figure holding her glasses, these works delve into the quiet, often overlooked moments that define our humanity. Each piece invites the viewer to reflect on the subtleties of emotion, the fragility of existence, and the profound connections we share with one another.
Together, these drawings form a narrative about vulnerability and immigration—our need for connection, our moments of introspection, and our need for survival. By blending traditional artistic techniques with surrealistic elements, these works challenge us to see the familiar in new ways and to appreciate the beauty in the everyday. Through this collection, I hope to inspire viewers to pause, reflect, and find suffering in the simple, yet profound, moments of an immigrant’s life.
